Waist Coat & Culotte in Ankara

I saw this knit culottes  on Burdastyle which I liked so I decided to make on from African prints (Ankara)

To complete the look I wanted for the African print I made a waist coat from the McCall’s easy stitch ‘n save M6149

The view A in African print below goes with the culotte. 🙂

and the back view looks like this

A blouse & a flower

The NewLook 6057 view c produced for me a nice top and flower to wear on jeans.

The fabric is African prints in 2 different shades of brown and gold. I love this fabric.

I added the fabric flower to the top to give it my own twist to the style.  The tutorial

on making the fabric flower can be found on the link below

And her name shall be called bitterness and suffering, for that was the condition of feeling of her father and nation at large. In Hebrew the name Mary means: “wished-for-child; rebellion; sea of bitterness”. With the challenges that life had brought her, the name Mary reminds us of her believe and fearless obedience.

What you have been called by others is not the important thing. You are the one who can give the actual meaning to your name. When your name is called, what will it remind us of?……………………
